Charles David Johnson, 70 of Grove, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2019. Charles was born in Pennsylvania on January 25, 1949 to David and Mary (Frenchick) Johnson. He served in the Army during Vietnam. Upon returning home he met and married the love of his life, Sandra McCallum. Charles was a compassionate and giving man who enjoyed helping others. He loved decorating for the holidays, especially Christmas. He also enjoyed listening to classical music and loved trains. His greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with his family.
Survivors include his daughters: Holly Schuler of Jay, Noel Langland and husband Terry of Brighton, CO, and Joy Johnson of Grove, and 9 grandchildren: Sarah Schuler, Jonathan Schuler, Christian Griffin, Tabby Langland, Lucy Langland, Nevaeh Priesendorf, Charles Barnard, Gabriel Mahoney, and Michelle Halverson. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife Sandra Johnson.
