Coeta A. Williams

Coeta A. Williams, passed away suddenly on May 30, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. 

Coeta was the loving daughter of the late Goldie Louise and Joe S. Downing. She was born on October 27, 1950, in Jay, Oklahoma.
 
Coeta led a remarkable life defined by her commitment to her family and her strong work ethic. Throughout her career as a Manager for Walmart, she worked tirelessly and even held up to four jobs simultaneously to ensure the well-being of her beloved sons, Brian Turner, Darron Turner, and Joe Ramsey. Coeta's determination and resilience were truly inspiring to all who knew her.
 
Coeta excelled in sports during her youth, particularly in basketball, softball, track, and various other athletic pursuits. Her competitive spirit and love for sports shaped her into the strong and dynamic individual she was known to be.
 
Those who were fortunate enough to know Coeta remember her as fun-loving with a natural ability to lead.
 
She is survived by her sons Brian Turner, Darron Turner, and Joe Ramsey; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; as well as her sister Linda Woods, sister Debbie Downing, brother Brad Downing.

To all family and friends of Coeta Williams, there will be a Celebration of Life held at Mount Herman Church, outside of Jay, Oklahoma on Saturday, June 8th, 2024 from 11 am to 3 pm.  Family hopes to enjoy food, music, a slideshow, and each other to share in the life of Coeta. She was an amazing mother, sister, friend, co-worker, classmate, and an extraordinary person! It's wil be set up as a come and go as you, please service. Please come with love and peace in your heart, to enjoy the life she lived and the love she had for each of us. The family hopes for this day to be a celebration of Coeta and be spent in such a manner with joy and laughter.
