Janice Marie Woolman, born on November 26, 1959, in Claremore, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2025, in Grove, Oklahoma. She was a devoted Personal Care Assistant for Home Health, where she dedicated her life to caring for others, truly embodying a spirit that had a heart for others.
Janice, or Momma J as some knew her, spent her days nurturing her family and community. She was the proud daughter of Robert and Caroline Nall, and she brought much joy to her family as a loving mother to her children: Kaboo Summerfield, Audie Woolman and his wife Barbie, Summer Woolman, and Travis Woolman. In addition to her children, Janice was blessed with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as her best friend Pat and David Presley and their daughter Lydia, all of whom adored her deeply. They cherished the time spent together, especially as she often baked and cooked for them, turning her kitchen into a haven of warmth and love.
Janice was a creative soul who enjoyed making crafts and was always their biggest cheerleader in whatever activities they pursued. Her passion extended beyond her immediate family; she had countless nieces, nephews, and friends who felt the love she radiated.
She is survived by her siblings: Roger Grass, Vinnie Hoover and her husband Jim, Priscilla Boyd, and Carl Nall and his wife Alice. These relationships enriched her life profoundly, as her family ties were an essential part of who she was.
Janice was greeted in heaven by her beloved husband, Donald Woolman and their son Shane Woolman. The importance of family was always at the forefront of her life, and she found immense joy in her roles as wife, mother, and grandmother. The memories she created with her family will forever be cherished.
Visitation services will be held on June 18, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay, Oklahoma. Janice will be remembered not just for her compassion but for her indomitable spirit that touched the lives of so many.
