Jimmy Phil Roy 57 passed away November 13, 2020, in Nowata, Oklahoma. He was born November 27, 1962, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, the son of James (Jay) Roy and Betty Louise (Gregory) Farris.

Jimmy attended Nowata Public Schools where he received his education. He was a very knowledgeable auto mechanic for many years. He was not afraid of getting his hands dirty and tackling any project that was in front of him. In his free time, he enjoyed being outdoors, which led to many hobbies such as fishing, camping, and hunting. Jimmy enjoyed spending time with his family and loved them unconditionally. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his father, James Roy Jr.

He is survived by his mother, Betty Farris; three children: Jay Roy of Tulsa, OK, Jimmy Roy Jr. of Kansas, Justin Roy of Tulsa, OK; two siblings: Jana Morrison of Nowata, OK and Patty Hartung of California.
