Julie Kay Denny was called to her eternal home on June 13, 2025, in Jay, Oklahoma. She was born on May 7, 1959, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Johnny and Annie (Custer) Black.
Julie married the love of her life, Ricky L. Denny, on January 19, 1982, in Jay, Oklahoma. Together, they built a life full of love, family, and cherished memories.
Julie is preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Annie Black, her brothers; Cecil Gene Black and Johnny Earl Black; her sisters, Zella Ruth Mouse and Vera Sue King; brothers-in-law Mike Mouse, J.C. Mouse, and Billie Black; sisters-in-law Debbie Black and Velma Sue Black; her granddaughter, Katty Sue Perdue; and daughter-in-law, Jessie Renae Beaty.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Ricky L. Denny; her children, Gary Allen Beaty of Jay, OK; Travis Denny and wife Jessica of Jay, OK, Able Denny of Jay, OK Bobby Denny of Jay, OK and daughter Zeffie Doyle and her husband Patrick of Jay, OK.
Julie was a proud grandmother to MaKenzie Denny, Ricky Denny, Anthony Denny, Kellie Jo Denny, Bradley “Doc” Denny, Marlee Beaty, Cooper Beaty, Anna Perdue, Nadalie Perdue and Kainen Denny.
She is also survived by her brothers Ronnie Paul, Jerry, and Jackson; her sisters Bertie Wolfe, Bonnie Eddington, Nancy Black and Dolly Reginer; and a large extended family of nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Graveside services will be held at 10 AM, Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at Mt. Hermon Cemetery in Jay, Oklahoma.
Julie will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her strength, and her kind and generous heart. She will be deeply missed by all that who knew and loved her.
