Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma, 918-786-2261. Marjorie R Field, formerly of Dedham, MA and Naperville, IL, passed away in her sleep early this past Saturday morning October 27, 2018 in Grove, OK. Marjorie was 92 years old.
Marjorie was born in Newton MA the daughter of Vives Jenkins and WWI Veteran and Newton Police Officer Charles Jenkins. Her younger brother Charles Jr. introduced Marjorie to his neighborhood friend, a young Howard Field, and Howard became the love of her life for over 80 years. After his Naval service in the Pacific in WWII they married and were married over 70 years until Howard's passing in 2017.
Marjorie is survived by her son William and his wife Felicia of Irvine CA, her son Kenneth and his wife Elsie of Wyandotte OK, five grandsons, and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held this coming Friday, November 2, 2018 at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, MO. Services are under the direction of Worley Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, OK. Online condolences may be made at www.honoringmemories.com or on the Worley Luginbuel Facebook page.
