Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma 918-786-2261. Nancy Irene McEldowney, 72 year old resident of Grove, Oklahoma, passed away on October 4, 2018 at the Grandwood Assisted Living Center.
Nancy was born on May 21, 1946 in El Reno, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Raymond E. and Ida Irene (Slimp) Baker. Nancy was united in marriage to the love of her life, Billy Joe McEldowney, Sr., in December of 1977. Nancy was an accomplished seamstress, she enjoyed cross stitching, going to craft shows, shopping at Ross, taking photographs. But most of all, Nancy enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. She leaves behind her five children; Kelli Cackler and husband Kevin of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Joe McEldowney, Jr and wife Kimberly of Jay, Oklahoma, Kimberly Hammond and husband Kenny of Neosho, Missouri, Cara Magruder of Anderson, Missouri and John McEldowney of Grove, Oklahoma. Nancy was blessed with 22 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 2-4 pm, Sunday, October 7, 2018, services are scheduled for 1:00 pm, Monday, October 8, 2018 both at the Grove-Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel with pastor Gary Bishop officiating.
