Patty Sue Grogg, 87, born on January 29, 1938, in Picher, Oklahoma, transitioned peacefully from this world on June 30, 2025, in Eucha, Oklahoma.

Patty lived a life marked by a profound commitment to service, love, and community. With over 30 years of dedicated work as a computer programmer at Amoco Petroleum, she was not only a pioneer in her field but also an inspiration to all who had the pleasure of working alongside her.

Beyond her professional achievements, Patty remained actively engaged in numerous volunteer groups, demonstrating her passion for helping those in need and her unwavering belief in the importance of giving back.

An avid reader, she found countless hours of happiness in the library, where she often immersed herself in new stories and ideas.

Patty was a proud member of Dogwood Chapel, where her faith played an essential role in her life and the lives of those around her.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Dawanna Skytt, and her granddaughter, Rachel Skytt. She also leaves behind her significant other, Tommie Smith, who she spent many joyful years with.

Patty was preceded in death by her parents, George and Alta (Jones) Wilson, and her two beloved sisters, Mary Lester-Schmid and Dawn Wilson.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, July 14, 2025 at Hickory Grove Cemetery with Pastor Lennie Martin officiating.
